Sad AP Story Printed in the Rocket Miner This Past Week

I saw this story in our local paper the other day and thought it should be brought up here in this forum: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/22900994/

I can only continue to hope that all pet owners will, regardless of how tough the times are, care for their pets as if they were their own children.

I also hope we can have laws that adequately punish people willing to abandon their pets to starve to death.

Let's continue to work toward those goals!
